Willow Beach is about a 45-minute drive from Las Vegas just past Hoover Dam on the Arizona side of the Colorado River. There is a campground with several RV sites and a few tent sites. Pets are welcome with a maximum of two pets per site. You can easily walk down to the beach from the campsite and enjoy a picnic by the river. Boat rentals are available at the Marina. Willow Beach provides access to Black Canyon National Water Trail which consists of 30 miles of caves, coves, beaches, hot springs, and wildlife viewing (bighorn sheep are often seen here!). Dispersed primitive camping is available along the shoreline. We recommend renting or brining your own kayak to explore hidden caves and inlets. Willow Beach is technically part of the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, so don't forget your national parks pass if you have one; otherwise, you will have to pay the entrance fee.
